Data controller
Amazon King International Educational Center – ONGD (AKIEC), tax ID (RUC) 20610149333, based in Iquitos, Loreto – Peru, is responsible for the data you provide on this site, under Peruvian Law No. 29733 and its Regulations.
What data we process
When you give: name or company name, email, phone and country; document type and number if you request a receipt; amount, currency, frequency, purpose and dedication; your consents with their date. If you report a transfer: date and transaction number. When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email and language. When you apply as a volunteer: name, email, phone, country, city, ID document (if you provide it, for the certificate), areas of interest, availability and your message. From the payment we only receive its status, method and date: your card details are processed by Mercado Pago and AKIEC never receives or stores them.
Why we use it
To record and follow up on your gift, issue the corresponding receipt, meet tax and transparency obligations, and reply to you. If you allow it, also to tell you how donations are used and about our activities.
Who we share it with
With Mercado Pago, to process the payment; with Resend, the service that sends our emails (receipts, certificates and newsletter); and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed for these purposes and for the periods required by tax and accounting regulations.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection, and withdraw your consent to communications, by writing to the contact channels on this site. If you get no reply, you may contact Peru's National Authority for Personal Data Protection.
Cookies
The public site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, nor third-party analytics. To improve the website we measure, on our own and anonymously, the pages visited, reading time, where the visit came from (for example, a search engine or a social network), device type, country and clicks on key buttons. We do not store your IP address or any data that identifies you: visits are grouped with a code that changes every day and is deleted after 13 months. If your browser has «Do Not Track» or Global Privacy Control enabled, we measure nothing. Only the team intranet uses a technical session cookie.
